Because you shouldn’t pay any attention to the attempt to extort votes from Georgia election officials. Remember a current Trump delusion revealed by the latest tape kerfuffle is that because the states near to Georgia went for Trump, it must be a “Trump state”, and he needs to pimp his speech today.

President Trump on Monday targeted Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) a day after the senator said he would not join an effort to object to the certification of Electoral College votes affirming Joe Biden as the next president.

“How can you certify an election when the numbers being certified are verifiably WRONG,” Trump tweeted, suggesting he would falsely claim during his rally in Georgia on Monday night that he was a true winner of the election despite multiple audits and court cases confirming Biden had won and that Trump claims lacked standing.

“@SenTomCotton Republicans have pluses & minuses, but one thing is sure, THEY NEVER FORGET!” Trump added.


Cotton, who is widely considered a potential GOP presidential candidate for 2024, broke with roughly a dozen other Senate Republicans who have said they will object to the electoral results in certain states when Congress certifies the votes on Wednesday.…





Speculation is mounting that US President Donald Trump could be planning to snub the inauguration of successor Joe Biden – by flying to Scotland.  

President Trump has made no secret of his disdain for his election loss, and continues to dispute the result which saw his Democratic challenger elected to the White House by a record margin of votes.  

Now Prestwick Airport has been told to expect the arrival of a US military Boeing 757 aircraft which has been occasionally used by Trump, on January 19 – the day before Mr Biden takes over.

This chimes with reports in the US that Trump will announce a 2024 re-election bid during a flight on one of the President’s official Air Force One planes on inauguration day.…
