Making “House Calls” For Medicare For All

Pitch In Now To Keep Dr. Bill On The Road

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA’s) staffer Dr. Bill Honigman co-coordinates our California chapter, and is often the face and voice of PDA on radio and television appearances. Lately he’s been making House (and Senate) calls to help elect Medicare for All candidates to Congress. Please pitch in now to support his “house calls” as he makes Improved Medicare for All presentations across the country as Co-Chair of our Healthcare Is A Human Right issue team.

Our allies at Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are working with our PDA Advisory Board Member Michael Lighty to bring home the message: Improved Medicare fir All woll save lives and money. They share this message:

American politics is in crisis. Too many working people are seeing their wages stagnate, their retirements deferred, and their premiums rise. Medicare for All can solve the crisis in health care but more importantly it represents a transformative demand that has the potential to change American politics all together.

Long-time DSA member, Sanders Institute Fellow, and leader in the Healthy California single-payer campaign Michael Lighty will visit cities across the South and West to lecture on the current political and economic crisis, why Democratic Socialism is the answer to Trumpism and how the demand for Medicare for All has the potential to galvanize a mass working-class base in the next two years.

Like Michael Lighty, Dr. Bill has a crazy travel schedule, and we’re committed to covering all of his travel expenses so he doesn’t go broke getting out the word on Improved Medicare for All. Dr. Bill puts his heart, soul, and shoe leather into making sure we enact Improved Medicare For All. Let’s have his back. Will you help?
