I’ve known Ed for many years, and I’ve seen his commitment and leadership up close. He is hard wired for public service.
We first met at a hearing on nuclear non-proliferation in 2003. Together, we urged Ed’s colleagues in Congress to find global solutions to the problems our planet is facing. We were pushing for global cooperation on nuclear non-proliferation and also on the climate crisis, protecting the environment and our people from the threat of pandemic infectious diseases.
Ed has long been a leader on these issues. He’s the Congressional expert on nuclear non-proliferation and addressing the climate crisis. He’s been at the forefront of the fight for our progressive agenda.
Time is running out to save the planet. We’re in the midst of a global pandemic. And we have never been weaker in the eyes of our allies than under Trump.
That’s why I believe we must re-elect Ed Markey. There is no United States Senator with more experience and knowledge to help lead us out of this moment than Ed Markey.
But his race is in a dead heat, and he needs our help heading into the final stretch of this primary.
