KY-Sen: Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D. MN) Wants To Replace Moscow Mitch With Another Amy In The Senate

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator and Presidential candidate, Amy Klobuchar (D. MN), in support of Amy McGrath’s (D. KY) U.S. Senate campaign:

Amy McGrath (D. KY)

Last week, Kentucky became the BLUEgrass State after voters chose Democrat Andy Beshear to be their next governor. Some Democrats had written Kentucky off, thinking we couldn’t compete in a “red” state. But they were wrong — Democrats won Kentucky in 2019, and they can do it again in 2020.

A trailblazing, determined Democrat has stepped up to run for Senate in Kentucky. Amy McGrath is a retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel who’s ready to fight for accountability, practical solutions and progress for Kentucky families. But winning Kentucky again won’t be easy, and Amy will need our help. Will you split a donation between my and Amy McGrath’s campaigns to send one Amy to the White House and another to the Senate?

I’m ready to win big and get America back on the right path, starting on Day 1 of my presidency. But to make real progress, I’ll need support from the Senate. Electing leaders like Amy McGrath and securing a Democratic Senate will help us fight for universal health care, protect our elections and tackle the climate crisis.

Now that the 2019 elections are over, all eyes are on Amy McGrath. This is a critical time for us to show our Team Amy support: Split a contribution between Amy McGrath’s campaign for Senate and my campaign for president to help two Amys win big!
