In 2018, we made history in Kansas. In 2020, we’re going to do it again.
When I defeated an incumbent Republican in 2018 to represent Kansas’ third congressional district, I became one of the first Native American women to ever serve in Congress.
We also beat the long odds and elected Democrat Laura Kelly as our new governor.
In 2020, we have the opportunity to elect another strong woman leader: Barbara Bollier. She has the momentum to flip this seat — and become the first woman doctor in the U.S. Senate.
Something big is happening in Kansas. Families here are ready for a change, because we’ve seen enough from politicians who put partisanship ahead of people. And enough is enough.
We need more leaders in Washington who will put our families first. And we need more public servants who will fight for what matters to Kansans, like access to affordable healthcare.
I’m so proud to take that fight to Congress every day, but I can’t do it alone. I need supporters like you to have my back — and to join the effort to send more strong Kansas leaders to D.C.
