The polling firm, DFM Research, which is a predominantly Democratic polling firm in the midwest, released their latest polling results from Kansas today. They mainly polled Kansas residents about expanding Heartland Flyer Amtrak service into the state (59%) do. They also tested Governor Laura Kelly’s (D. KS) approval rating (49/29) and Trump is still favorable in Kansas (51/44). In head to head competition, he beats all the Democrats running for President. But Trump’s favorite vote suppressing white supremacist, former Secretary of State, failed gubernatorial candidate and current U.S. Senate candidate, Kris Kobch (R. KS) remains deeply unpopular (34/49). Kobach is so unpopular that he ties with State Senator Barbara Bollier (D. KS):

We have a real opportunity to flip this seat and get us a Senate Majority. It will be an expensive race because one billionaire really likes Kobach:
California billionaire Peter Thiel was the primary contributor to a political action committee that conducted a poll showing Kris Kobach leading all Republican contenders for an open Senate seat in Kansas.
Thiel, a co-founder of PayPal and early investor in Facebook, contributed $100,000 to the Free Forever PAC on Dec. 31, according to a campaign finance report the PAC filed with Federal Election Commission last week.
The group, which formed in October, released a poll in December showing Kobach running competitively against Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in a theoretical matchup.
