It’s Medicare For All Monday! How Can You Help?

It’s Medicare For All Monday! How Can You Help?

In solidarity,  Dr. Bill Honigman and Mike Hersh for Alan, Mike F., Dan, Janis, Deb, Kimberly, Bryan, and Donna—your PDA national team.

Tell Congress We Need Medicare For All!

Today, on Medicare For All Monday, Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) continues our demands that Congress pass single payer / Medicare for All (MFA).

A brand new Lancet study concluded that MFA would save 68,000 lives every year! “How are we going to pay for it?” We’re already paying more than enough because MFA would actually save $450 billion annually. (See the link in the p.s. below for the study.)

All Means All! Only a truly fundamental reform of healthcare will guarantee that every one of us gets all of the healthcare we need to live long, healthy, fulfilled lives. Anything short of MFA will fail to live up to the standards we need.

Economists and health policy experts agree: We need Improved Medicare For All because it will save 10,000s of lives and 100s of $billions every year. The American people overwhelmingly support MFA according to every single opinion poll. Help PDA and our allies force the politicians to listen!

PDA wholeheartedly supports the Medicare For All Act because this legislation will provide comprehensive healthcare for all of us including—mental, dental, vision, hearing, prescriptions, medical devices, preventative care, women’s health, long-term care, and more—all with no out-of-pocket costs to patients: no premiums, co-pays, fees, caps, or deductibles.

PDA has been mobilizing for MFA since our founding in 2004. We’re closer than ever before, but we need more cosponsors in the House to bring the Medicare For All Act to the floor for a historic vote. Are you with us?

We need your activism now! Time is of the essence! To prevail, we need as many cosponsors as we can get! Please Click Here to tell your Representative to Cosponsor Rep. Jayapal’s and Rep. Debbie Dingell’s Medicare For All Act.

Then, Click Here to tell your Senators to cosponsor Sen. Bernie Sanders’s MFA legislation. Also, Click Here to tell your Representative to cosponsor Rep. Ro Khanna’s State-Based Universal Healthcare legislation.
