IA-Sen: Sen Sherrod Brown (D. OH) Helps Theresa Greenfield (D) Get Ready To Defeat Joni Ernst (R)

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D. OH) in support or Theresa Greenfield’s (D. IA) U.S. Senate campaign:

While some folks on the coasts might call both Ohio and Iowa “flyover” states, we know better and we deserve strong senators fighting for us in Washington, D.C. That's why my friend Theresa Greenfield needs your help.

Theresa is running to represent Iowans alongside me in the U.S. Senate, and I know she's the best fit for the job. She isn't afraid to do the right thing for Iowans. She's ready to invest in education, help lower the cost of health care, fight for unions and hardworking families, and protect programs like Social Security.

But Theresa needs our help. She's not taking a dime from corporate PACs, and special-interest groups are already starting to pour money into her race.

Can I count on you to step up for Theresa? If we're going to take back the Senate in 2020, it's going to take grassroots supporters like you pitching in what you can, when you can to win. Please, chip in $5 or more today to help Theresa win her race.

Samuel, right now the road to taking back the Senate runs through Iowa. If we want a chance to protect access to affordable health care, invest in our small businesses, and lift up our country's middle class, we need to elect Theresa in 2020.

I've spent my career fighting to protect the Dignity of Work, and I know that in the Senate, Theresa will join me in the fight.

Please, pitch in today to join me in supporting Theresa — even a dollar gets us one step closer to taking back the Senate.

With gratitude,

Sherrod Brown
U.S. Senator from Ohio
