“I fell in love with Elizabeth Warren, but had already voted. Can you help her?”
Received this e-mail today from the Progressive Change Campaign Committee in support of U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren’s (D. MA) presidential campaign:
I messed up. I voted early in Nevada for Pete Buttigieg.
Then I saw Elizabeth Warren in this week's debate and at a local rally — and I fell in love. I thought: WOW. She is INSPIRING. There is no doubt she is the candidate who can defeat Trump!
I supported Bernie Sanders in 2016, but I believe Elizabeth Warren is the effective fighter we need to lead us into battle with a plan to win a progressive agenda and help millions of people. She will be a transformational president.
I wish I could change my early vote. Most people in Nevada voted before the debate, like me. I worry that tonight's results will not fully represent the groundswell that is growing for Elizabeth Warren after she dismantled billionaire Mike Bloomberg in the last debate.
Can you help Elizabeth Warren turn out every vote today, and help her in the lead up to Super Tuesday March 3? Please donate $20 or whatever you can afford to her campaign and the PCCC's work to elect her.
I actually worked as crew on The Apprentice many years ago. I witnessed how Trump operated, so I knew we were in trouble if he won. When Bernie lost, I voted for Hillary.
In 2020, we all know what’s at stake. The future of our democracy and our planet’s health.
This year, we need vision plus the effectiveness to actually address climate change and save our democracy. We need a champion who can get bold progressive change done: Elizabeth Warren.
I don’t mind saying, I need some of that change. I have a college degree and I’ve been in the workforce for 25 years, but while the price of gas and groceries has gone way up, my paycheck has never kept up. For the last 6 years, I’ve been trying to make ends meet in the “gig economy” for companies like Uber, DoorDash, and Instacart.
Warren is right. Our economy may be working great for the people at the top — but it isn’t working for the rest of us. I have a lot of friends who, like me, are struggling to get by in their thirties and forties. It’s often nearly impossible to even get an interview, much less a job.
After seeing Warren in the debate, I’m 100% confident I want her on the debate stage against Trump — and I want to live in Elizabeth Warren’s America. If you agree, please donate $20 or what you can to help elect her right now.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
