Received this e-mail today from Governor Tom Wolf’s (D. PA) group, Wolf PAC:
Today is a monumental day. Fifty-five years ago, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act of 1965 into law — prohibiting racial discrimination at the polls. It was the first step toward protecting everyone's right to vote.
In 2016, 1.8 million eligible Democratic voters in Pennsylvania did not vote. Donald Trump won Pennsylvania by less than 50,000 votes. This year, Trump knows winning in Pennsylvania is key to another term in the White House. The only way we'll be able to beat Trump is at the polls.
That's why Tom is committed to ensuring every eligible voter in Pennsylvania makes their voices heard in 2020.
