GA-Sen B: DFA Doubles Down To Help Rev. Raphael Warnock (D) Defeat COVID-19 Stock Dumping GOPer

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from Democracy for America in support of Rev. Raphael Warnock’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaign:

I have good news to share with you, Samuel.

When Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) was caught selling off $20 million in stock before the market crashed — all while misleading the public about the coronavirus — DFA members stepped up.

Thanks to your support and the support of progressives across the country, DFA-endorsed challenger Rev. Raphael Warnock outraised Kelly Loeffler at the first FEC deadline of this important election year.

That’s part of the reason Roll Call just called Loeffler one of the top ten most vulnerable Senators this cycle. It’s clear we have the momentum we need to flip Georgia’s Senate seat, which gets us that much closer to flipping control of the Senate and taking the reins from Mitch McConnell.

But Loeffler is the wealthiest member of Congress — and just cut her own campaign a $5 million check. So Rev. Warnock is counting on our support to capture this momentum and fight back.

Will you split a contribution between DFA and Rev. Warnock’s campaign today to help us flip this Georgia Senate seat blue? It will take a strong grassroots movement to win this race.

Anyone who puts their personal wealth ahead of the health and safety of countless Americans has no place continuing to serve in the U.S. Senate.

Your contributions help us defeat corrupt politicians like Kelly Loeffler and elect strong progressive champions like Rev. Warnock. Thank you for all you do.
