GA-Sen A: Stacey Abrams Helps Jon Ossoff (D) Dismantle Moscow Mitch's Majority

2 min read

Received this e-mail today from former gubernatorial candidate and Georgia House Minority Leader, Stacey Abrams (D. GA), in support of Jon Ossoff’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaign:

Election Day is 36 days away, and the stakes couldn't be higher.

Republican leaders have turned their backs on Americans all over the country — in the middle of a global pandemic, in the face of widespread racism, and on the brink of an economic catastrophe.

There is no path to save our democracy this year that doesn't involve taking back the U.S. Senate — and right now U.S Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is narrowly leading GOP Senator David Perdue in several polls.

That's why I'm asking: Can you rush $20 RIGHT NOW to elect my friend, Jon Ossoff, to the United States Senate?

Three years ago, Jon came up just a few thousand votes short in his race for Georgia's Sixth District.

Then, in this year's June primary election, Georgia Democrats SHATTERED voter turnout records in nominating him. Not to mention, Georgia Democrats actually outnumbered Georgia Republicans in June!

Jon's movement is building more and more momentum each day.

But here's the thing: Jon has a CRITICAL deadline coming up Wednesday. We have two more days until the end of the quarter, and he needs to hit his grassroots fundraising goal by the end of the day to stay on track to win.

Right now, will you make a donation to help propel Jon Ossoff's campaign in the final weeks of the election and ensure we have a Democrat representing Georgia in the U.S. Senate?

We need a champion for democracy in Washington. If I know anything about Jon — and I do — it's that he can, and he will, be that champion.

We need you to join us today.

Thanks for being part of this movement.

Stacey Abrams
