Received this e-mail from former Columbus, GA Mayor, Teresa Tomlinson’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaign:
We just got some extraordinary news.
The National Organization for Women Political Action Committee is endorsing Teresa in Georgia’s Democratic primary to take on David Perdue in this battleground Senate race. In the national president’s announcement, they highlighted that:
“Teresa Tomlinson has a life-long record of championing feminists values in her political, professional and personal life. Georgia deserves a Senator who will champion equality for women and girls in their schools, their workplaces and in their private health decisions. That will be Teresa.” –Toni Van Pelt, Chairwoman, NOW PAC
Teresa is championing the fight for equal pay, reproductive rights, maternal health, paid family leave, and the reinstatement of the Violence Against Women Act that has been blocked by corrupt NRA lobbyists and their Republican majority who would rather protect sales for gun manufacturers than protect the lives of women from domestic abusers with a firearm.
