Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator-Elect John Hickenlooper (D. CO) in support of Jon Ossoff (D. GA) and Rev. Raphael Warnock’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaigns:
Rev. Raphael Warnock (D. GA) & Jon Ossoff (D. GA)
We can’t forget, folks — the Senate majority is still up for grabs!
Democrats Jon Ossoff and ReverendRaphaelWarnockare in the fight of their lives as both their elections head to January 5 runoffs.
Their teams are scrambling to overcome millions of dollars in attacks before it’s too late. And we know Mitch McConnell will do anything in a last-ditch effort to protect his majority.
Remember:President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris won’t be able to move our country forward if a Republican Senate stalls nominees, blocks progress, and refuses to reach across the aisle.
Jon Ossoffis a Jewish son of an immigrant. He’s been mentored by the great Congressman John Lewis. He’s devoted his life to fighting corruption and would be the youngest Senator to take office in decades, paving the way for a new generation.
ReverendWarnockis a lifelong civil rights leader who serves at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, the former pulpit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He grew up in public housing and has dedicated his life to helping Georgia families.
Jon and Rev.Warnockwould make incredible, trailblazing leaders for Georgia and our country. We cannot allow the Republicans to smear them with lies and attacks in an attempt to keep their grip on the majority.
