Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D. OH) in support of Jon Ossoff (D. GA) & Rev. Raphael Warnock’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaigns:
Jon Ossoff and Rev. Warnock’s runoff races in Georgia are our last chance to flip the Senate. Their races will determine control of the Majority.
They will determine whether Mitch McConnell remains Majority Leader and continues to block progress in the Senate.
They will determine the future of the Affordable Care Act and health care for more than 20 million Americans.
And they will determine whether we rebuild our economy so that it works for everyone and not just the top 1%.
Jon is an investigative journalist who has spent his career fighting corruption and taking on corporate special interests. He’s committed to making our economy work for workers and not just Wall Street by protecting health care and making it more affordable and creating jobs.
Rev. Warnock grew up in the housing projects in Savannah, became the first in his family to graduate from a four-year college, and now serves as the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s church. He’s fighting for affordable health care, fair wages, and the Dignity of Work.
Jon and Rev. Warnock got this far thanks to our unwavering grassroots support, and they need our help now, too.
Georgia saw record turnout for the general election. We need to work even harder and faster to make sure voters turn out to elect Jon and Rev. Warnock in the January runoff. If you can, please split a contribution between Jon and Rev. Warnock’s campaigns and mine.
