Received this e-mail today from President-Elect Joe Biden in support of Jon Ossoff (D. GA) & Raphael Warnock’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaigns:
Last month this grassroots team made history — not just by winning the presidency, but by flipping Georgia blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.
Now, with the two Georgia Senate races going to runoffs on January 5, we have the chance to make history again by electing Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the U.S. Senate. These races are so important that I will be traveling to Georgia next Tuesday.
But we all need to do our part to make sure we win these races. That’s why today, I’m proud to announce a bold new effort, the Flip Georgia Fund, to make sure we win the state and take back the Senate.
Winning these races is critical to making sure we can get to work building back better. Can I count on you to split a $112 donation between Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, and the DNC through our Flip Georgia Fund right now?
I really mean it when I say that taking back the Senate gives us our best chance to pass strong COVID relief, rebuild our economy, and begin to unite our country. And on January 5, Georgians will cast the votes that will decide the course of the country.
Fortunately, they’ve got two great candidates to vote for. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock will look out for Georgians’ interests, not their own. That’s exactly the kind of leadership we need in the U.S. Senate.
But we don’t have any time to spare. Outside groups are already pouring millions of dollars into TV attack ads, and early voting starts in less than a week.
That’s why I’m doing everything I can to flip the seats, and why I’m asking you to make a donation to the Flip Georgia Fund right now.
Thanks for all you do,
