GA-Sen A & B: Gov. Gavin Newsom (D. CA) Helps Get Joe Biden A Democratic Senate Majority

2 min read

Received this e-mail from my Governor, Gavin Newsom (D. CA) in support of Jon Ossoff (D. GA) & Raphael Warnock’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaigns:

Raphael Warnock (D. GA) & Jon Ossoff (D. GA)

It’s official: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the next President and Vice President of the United States!

Together, we made history — and our nation can begin to heal and unite. This is a moment of celebration, but there is still work to be done.

President-elect Joe Biden will need a Democratic Senate to pass the bold policies required to tackle climate change, stop the spread of COVID-19, dismantle systemic racism in our institutions, and so much more. And the Senate majority is still up for grabs.

Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock will both head to runoff elections in Georgia in January. These races will decide the Senate majority.

We already know Mitch McConnell is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his grip on power — so we can fully expect Georgia to be flooded with attack ads over the next few months.

These campaigns used up a lot of their resources getting folks to the polls on Election Day. They need our help to overcome the next onslaught of GOP attacks and win their runoff elections.

Will you chip in to Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff’s campaigns so we can flip the Senate and remove Mitch McConnell from power?

I’m so proud of all this team has accomplished. Let’s keep going.
