GA-06: Sen. Chris Murphy (D. CT) Refuses To Let The NRA Defeat Lucy McBath (D)

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D. CT) in support of Rep. Lucy McBath’s (D. GA-06) re-election campaign:

The NRA is making it their personal mission to defeat my friend, Congresswoman Lucy McBath in 2020.

Don’t take my word for it. It was a pledge made by their newly elected president coming out of the chaos of their annual meeting last week.

Lucy’s win in GA-06 was the sweetest victory of 2018. She became a gun violence prevention advocate after the senseless murder of her son Jordan in 2012, and she put gun violence prevention at the center of her campaign.

It says a lot that the NRA is choosing to focus on this race first – that this is where they are planting their flag.

So that means Lucy needs our help, and I am eager to give it to her. I hope that you will join me in doing something big and important for her campaign, and for our movement:
