Evidence and Evident things
The former chief executive of the United States implored his security not to check people for weapons saying, “I don’t fing care if they have weapons. They’re not here to hurt me. Take the fing mags away. Let my people in. They can march to the Capitol from here. Let the people in. Take the f***ing mags away,” were Trump’s words, according to one of his aides Cassidy Hutchinson. We know the former President refused to intervene for three hours and seven minutes while pushing the massive crowd to anger against his Vice President with a tweet that read, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify,” said Trump on Twitter. “USA demands the truth!” The aftermath was Mr. Pence secreted away to a hidden basement by his security on January 6. A hangman’s scaffold had been erected while the insurrectionists chanted, “hang Mike Pence!”
A Trump legal team member [Rudy Giuliani] called for a “trial by combat.” A Republican member of Congress [Mo Brooks] outfitted in a bulletproof vest implored the crowd to kick ass, “Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass,” Brooks told the crowd. Both testimony, video, and self-admission have proved all these assertions. The evidence is clear, but what is more important is that it is evident to the American people. Unless you are a member of the Trump cult and the video we all saw of broken windows, fallen police officers, death, and destruction was a George Soros false flag, no doubt is left of a crime.
Today’s penultimate public hearing is not meant to be a rehashing of evidence but a plea to those who have fallen into the abyss of Trumpism. Saying to them the police, the FBI, Congress, the current President, and the truth are not their enemy. At this point, is there any more evidence needed? The January 6 hearings culminate years of corruption, lying, nepotism, extortion, and repeated lawlessness. The double-dealing and near treacherous siding with Vladimir Putin and Saudi murderers over American intelligence. The Toronto Star assigned a reporter [Daniel Dale] to do nothing but fact-check Mr. Trump’s endless lies; two years into the assignment, Trump exceeded three thousand. The former President installed members of his family into sensitive positions without their ability to pass security background checks. The disputed “perfect call,” according to Trump, pressuring Ukraine’s President to swap an investigation of Joe Biden for arms, is even more audacious in today’s climate of war between Russia and Ukraine.
Finally, while Republicans promise to create or find corruption links between President Joe Biden and his once drug-addicted son Hunter Biden, they ignore the two-billion dollars Trump’s son-in-law got from the Saudi Prince. The Saudi Prince not only gave money to Jared Kushner but reportedly said Kushner was “in his pocket.” January 6 was the final nail in the coffin. We will listen to breathless commentary from the assemblage of the leading talking heads of the cable news stations explaining the evidence but for anyone paying attention it is evident that Mr. Trump was and is wholly unfit for office.
