Enough Doses Now Available for 200 Million Jabs in Biden's First 100 Days
More than 225 million doses of Covid vaccines have been delivered, more than enough to fulfill Joe Biden’s goal of 200 million vaccinations in his first 100 days.
If we just maintain the recent pace averaging 3 million shots a day, we should have about 240 million vaccinations, 20 million more than the goal, by April 30. This assumes 15 million more vaccine doses will become available, which should not be a problem. (About 20.1 million vaccinations occurred under Trump.)
Hopefully, the vaccination centers can really ramp it up as Covid variants more contagious than the original strain are bringing a new wave of sickness.
The CDC reports 33.1% of the US population has received at least one dose as of yesterday. This includes 42.4% of adults and 76.4% of Americans over the age of 65.
