CO-Sen: Sen. Bob Casey (D. PA) Wastes No Time Helping John Hickenlooper (D) Beat Cory Gardner (R)

Received this e-mail today from my home state’s U.S. Senator Bob Casey, Jr. (D. PA) in support of former Governor John Hickenlooper’s (D. CO) U.S. Senate campaign:

John Hickenlooper (D. CO)

John Hickenlooper just announced he's running against Republican U.S. Senator Cory Gardner in Colorado. With your support, he can help Democrats take back the Senate. Here's why:

2010 and 2014 were two of the toughest election years for Democrats in recent history.
Both years, John Hickenlooper defeated his Republican opponents.

As governor, he went on to boost Colorado's economy, oversaw Medicaid expansion to make sure more families had access to health care, and supported common sense gun reform to keep Coloradans safe. He'll do the same in the Senate with our help.

I can't wait to work with John in the Senate, but first he needs to start his campaign strong. Will you chip in to help me raise $10,000 by midnight to kickstart John Hickenlooper's U.S. Senate campaign?

John's opponent, Senator Cory Gardner, has voted with President Trump almost 9 out of every 10 votes, supporting his corporate agenda.

Electing a leader in Colorado who will put his constituents first, not the Trump agenda, is critical in 2020. That leader is John Hickenlooper, and he can't win without the early support of people like you.

Chip in now to help John Hickenlooper fight for the people of Colorado and build a Democratic majority in the Senate. Help me reach my $10,000 goal and support John before midnight.

Thank you,

Bob
