Remember when Donald Trump, instead of taking the bull by the horns and helping our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, decided to throw paper towels at them, blame them for their troubles, whine about the expense their predicament was incurring, lie about the expense itself, and excoriate their leaders to deflect from his own leadership failures?

Of course you do.

Guess what? We’re all suffering from that same feral and feckless crisis management now, as the inimitable Bette Midler recently pointed out:

Dr. Gu’s tweet, which Midler responded to, appeared to be a response to this Twitter tiff, which Trump chose to engage in instead of actually engaging with our states and municipalities.

This after Trump called Washington Gov. Jay Inslee a “snake” and snarked that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo needed to “do more.”

And what do Washington state, New York, and Puerto Rico all have in common? Oh, that’s right. None of them have given or ever will give him any electoral votes.

Yes, Trump is at at best indifferent to the fate of our blue states and territories. At worst he’s at war with them. This is not a leader; it’s a disease vector.

Is Trump still chafing your arse-cheeks? Then Dear Fcking Lunatic: 101 Obscenely Rude Letters to Donald Trump and its boffo sequels Dear Prsident A**clown: 101 More Rude Letters to Donald Trump and Dear F*cking Moron: 101 More Letters to Donald Trump by Aldous J. Pennyfarthing are the pick-me-up you need! Reviewers have called these books “hysterically funny,” “cathartic,” and “laugh-out-loud” comic relief. And they’re way, way cheaper than therapy.
