AZ-Sen: Sen. Chris Murphy (D. CT) Helps Mark Kelly (D) Defeat Martha McSally (R) & The NRA

Received this e-mail from U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D. CT) in support of Mark Kelly’s (D. AZ) U.S. Senate campaign:

Mark Kelly’s Senate race in Arizona is likely to be the most expensive and most competitive Senate race of 2020.

Every election forecaster has rated the race a toss-up.

Winning this race is critical to our fight to change our gun laws and save lives. No one has done more for the anti-gun violence cause than Mark Kelly and his wife Gabby Giffords.

I want to give his campaign a big boost before Monday’s critical FEC deadline. It would mean a lot to me if you could support his campaign.

Will you split a $5 donation between Mark Kelly’s race and my campaign to change our gun laws? He cannot win this race and help us take back the Senate alone.

Look, this race isn’t going to be cheap. Mark’s opponent has raised more than every other Republican Senator this year — even more than Mitch McConnell.

Mark can win, but only if he has the grassroots support and resources that he needs to compete.

So far, he’s proven that he has what it takes to go the distance and flip Arizona again. But now is not the time to take things for granted and risk coming up short.

Please split a $5 donation between Mark Kelly’s race and my campaign. It would go a long way in our fight to flip the Senate in 2020.

I know your support will mean a lot to Mark, so thank you in advance for chipping in.

Every best wish,

Chris Murphy
