50% of US Adults Should Be Vaccinated By the End of this Week

1 min read

With vaccination rates averaging 3.2 million per day, this should be the week when one half of all US adults will have been injected with at least one vaccine dose for Covid-19.  www.wsfa.com/…

Just over 120.4 million Americans have received at least one jab, according to the CDC’s report for yesterday, making the percentage adults vaccinated 46.5%. Enough doses have been delivered already to continue sticking those arms at the rate of 4% of the population a week, or better.

Despite all the talk of vaccine hesitancy, 78.9% of  senior Americans have already gotten their first injection, even though that is the generation that needs the most help in signing up and getting transportion to a vaccination site. Overall, 36.4% of all Americans have felt at least one of those little sticks. Pfizer/BioNTech has applied to the FDA to allow its vaccine be administered to 12 to 15 year old children.
