4.6 Million Vaccinated Friday
The Center for Disease Control reports that 4.6 million injections were added to the US vaccination total on Friday. About 35.3% of all Americans have now received at least one dose of vaccine. The percentage of US adults who have received at least one shot is 45.1%, and the percentage for seniors is 78.1%.
The number of jabs reported appears to be a new record exceeding the number from last Friday by 547,000. The average for the week which includes Easter is 3.1 million per day. At this rate President Biden’s goal of 200 million vaccinations in 100 days will be reached in about 12 days.
New Hampshire continues to lead in the percentage who have taken at least one shot at 48.7%. Mississippi lags at 27.5%.
