Somehow the current historical situation was not on the briefing agenda of Atlanta police last evening even though multiple police agencies were covering the scene. It will be even worse if the Wendy’s manager’s name is Karen.
The officer who fired the shots has been fired. His partner has been put on administrative leave.
Atlanta Police Department (ADP) officers were dispatched to a Wendy's in the city Friday evening around 10:30 p.m. in response to complaints that Brooks was asleep in the drive-thru of the restaurant.
Police reportedly attempted to take Brooks into custody have he failed a sobriety test. Amid a struggle to put Brooks under arrest, he allegedly grabbed an officer's Taser and ran off with it.
Atlanta resident Rayshard Brooks, 27, was shot by an officer during a struggle and died after surgery at a local hospital, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. https://t.co/9HVpDnjKXU

Rayshard Brooks was asleep in his car. He wasnâÂÂt committing a crime. He wasnâÂÂt threatening anyone. He was asleep. WHY WERE COPS CALLED AT ALL???
