And of course, we only have data today from a few of the states from yesterday.

As the infection number is going up, we need to remember that deaths are a lagging indicator.

But we also need to remember that those who do not die may suffer permanent damage to lungs and other organs.

We should NOT be just learning to live with it.

I am, as most know, still a school teacher.

As of right now, we do not know how we will do our instruction come this Fall.

It is increasingly looking like we might have to be all virtual, and at a minimum some kind of hybrid approach.

For those of my students who will be seniors and are counting on athletic scholarships, I have to seriously wonder if we will have any athletics, at least for the Fall season.

And if America does not QUICKLY get serious, our economy will be crippled, with many losing all income.
