Congrats, Gov.-Elect Andy Beshear! Kentucky dumps Matt Bevin, despite Trump's selfish pleas

Donald Trump faced a harsh reality Tuesday night, when Kentucky voters showed that they weren’t swayed, just the day before, by his impassioned speech to come out and vote for one of his minions, Matt Bevin, simply because it would personally help him out.

You gotta vote because if you lose, it sends a really bad message. It just sends a bad and they’re going to build it up…

If you win, they are going to make it like, ho hum. And if you lose, they are going to say Trump suffered the greatest defeat in the history of the world. You can't let that happen to me!

But they did let it happen.

Trump and Vice President Mike Pence traveled to the Bluegrass State in an a last-minute attempt to rescue the flailing Kentucky governor in his race against the Democrat, Attorney General and soon-to-be Governor Andy Beshear. Trump gave one of his signature hate rallies on Election Night eve, and made a lot of promises that focused attention on the number one issue facing Kentuckians: Saving Trump.
