Trump official all but accuses the Clintons of killing Jeffrey Epstein

You may remember Lynne Patton from the Michael Cohen hearings, when she attempted to refute Cohen’s (rather obvious) assertion that Donald Trump is a racist.

Well, now the regional HUD administrator for the Trump administration is stepping into the fray again to (naturally!) accuse Bill and Hillary Clinton of killing Jeffrey Epstein. Because that’s the kind of sick fucking world we live in now.

In an Instagram post following news of the apparent suicide of Jeffrey Epstein this morning, Patton basically stated that the Clintons were involved in Epstein’s death. Under a headline announcing Epstein’s suicide, Patton wrote “Hillary’d!! P.S. Let me know when I’m supposed to feel badly about this … #VinceFosterPartTwo”

As everyone here likely remembers, Vince Foster was the Clinton administration deputy White House counsel and Clinton family friend who killed himself in a Virginia park in 1993. While all the evidence pointed to suicide (and five official investigations came to the same conclusion), conservatives tried to pin the death on the Clintons for years, concocting all sorts of conspiracy theories about a murder carried out to silence him.

And since people all over the country are bound to fill in the blanks regarding Epstein’s apparent suicide — and many of those blanks will beg and scream for Trump’s name* — Patton is getting out ahead of the story.

It’s not exactly shocking coming from this crew. The only thing that surprises me is she didn’t use the #PizzaGate hashtag. There appears to be plenty of room.
