Democratic Congressman John Yarmuth Calls for Start of Impeachment Hearings Against Trump.

Democratic Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3rd) has called for or believes it is time to start impeachment hearings against Trump.

U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth believes it is time to begin impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.

Yarmuth, chairman of the House Budget Committee, told CNN Tuesday morning that waiting until the fall would be “too late” to begin an impeachment inquiry.

“I think it's time,” he said.

Yarmuth, Kentucky's only Democrat in Washington, has said previously that the House impeaching Trump was “inevitable.”

This may not be as important development as say Nadler calling for impeachment, but you cannot overlook or dismiss Yarmuth’s call for impeachment hearings.  Yarmuth is a friend and ally of Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.  In fact, rumors had it that Yarmuth would have supported Hoyer if Pelosi had not run for Speaker of the House.  And we all have come to “love” Hoyer is one of the poster chidren for derelection of congressional duty:

“Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point,” Hoyer told CNN. “Very frankly, there is an election in 18 months and the American people will make a judgement.”

Yeah, let Trump do whatever he wants until the November 2020 Election.  How’s that working out for you Steny?  Trump giving Democrats the middle finger every day with ignoring subpeonas and witness tampering.

But here we have a friend and ally of Hoyer going on the record in the local newspaper calling for impeachment hearings and saying they are “inevitable.”  Keep in mind that while the KY-3rd is the most liberal part of Kentucky that is not saying much.  This is still a redstate who loves themselves some Trump.  And Yarmuth is no fire breather.  He’s a thoughtful and good guy.  Yarmuth would not go out on a limb like this unless he had thought it through.

I found it some good news today, considering that Pelosi is raining all over moving forward with impeachment hearings.
