At long last the shutdown is over, and by all accounts Trump was the big loser getting nothing that he wanted. True, we may end up back in the same place in a few weeks, but it does feel like this may be a big turning point leaving Trump a lame duck. However, he still continues to do damage. Roger Stone, a toxic figure who even the Nixon people think makes them look bad, was indicted and shows signs that he may cooperate.
