Anyone Else Exhausted By The Hamlet Routine from Flake, Murkowski, and Collins?

It’s Shakespeare in the Park with Flake, Murkowski, and Collins, and they are performing scenes from “Hamlet.”  I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted watching those three act like they are deeply conflicted about Kavanaugh or the process by which he is being rammed onto the Supreme Court.  And quite frankly, I never cared for “Hamlet.”  Do we need  a ghost to visit those three Republicans and tell them that Kavanaugh is unfit to sit on the Supreme Court?  I don’t know about you all, but it sure sounds like Flake, Murkowski, and Collins need a supernatural event to get them to see all the problems with Kavanaugh.

Let’s just list a few of the mundane things those three refuse to see:

  • Kavanaugh rips off the mask of being fair and impartial during his latest hearing.
  • Kavanaugh looses his temper and repeatedly lashes out at a co-equal branch of government.
  • Kavanaugh tells lots of “little lies” during his testimony.
  • Republicans go for a one week FBI “investigation” that is not one week and has restrictions placed on it.
  • The investigation does not include interviews with two of the major players — Ford and Kavanaugh.
  • Now, we are told that there will be only one copy of the FBI report, and senators have one hour to view it in.

That is just a few of the problems anyone who is not a committed partisan can see with Kavanaugh.

And the guy who nominated Kavanaugh basically called the woman who was sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh a liar.  This is the same guy who has bragged about sexually assaulting women.  And now the same rapist in chief is saying that rapists need protecting too.

ORDER NOW

Instead, we are being treated to reporters trying to chase down the latest “tut tut” from Flake and Murkowski.  Collins went whole hog and blocked reporters from chasing her around any more.  I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of watching this.  Any of them can simply tell McConnell, “I’m not voting for Kavanaugh.”  Yes, they will catch holy hell, but if any of them did tell McConnell to “fuck off,” you don’t think McConnell would pull the plug on this travesty?  Flake did his little drama routine last week, and McConnell had to play for time.

You have the power Senators Flake, Murkowski, and Collins.

I’m tired of drama.
