AZ-Gov: PCCC Wastes No Time Helping David Garcia (D) Get Ready To Defeat Doug Ducey (R)

Received this e-mail today from the Progressive Change Campaign Committee:

ANOTHER VICTORY! The PCCC just added another huge win for the night with David Garcia's victory in the Democratic primary for Arizona governor.

Garcia stood with Arizona’s public school teachers on the picket lines and is campaigning on his support for unions, Medicare for All, and green-energy jobs.

The Hill reports on Andrew Gillum's victory earlier tonight: “The come-from-behind win defied expectations and is bound to invite comparisons to the win by progressive star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who stunned the political world in June by defeating established Rep. Joe Crowley in a New York Democratic primary.”

The New York Times adds, “This sets the stage for a ferocious general election in the country’s largest swing state between one of President Trump’s most unabashed allies and an outspoken progressive who would be Florida’s first black governor.”

Tonight's upsets are huge for progressives — and prove our ideas are popular everywhere! “I was endorsed by the same organizations as Stacey Abrams and Andrew Gillum,” Garcia said. PCCC members were proud to support both victors tonight!

Can you chip in $4 to help Andrew Gillum, David Garcia, and Stacey Abrams defeat Republicans this fall — and help Cynthia Nixon win her primary? Andrew and David have very little time to rebuild for the general election and need our help!

Tonight's upsets are huge for progressives — and prove our ideas are popular everywhere! “I was endorsed by the same organizations as Stacey Abrams and Andrew Gillum,” Garcia said. PCCC members were proud to support both victors tonight!

We still have one more major primary ahead of us — in New York, where Cynthia Nixon is running to unseat corporate Dem Andrew Cuomo.

Cynthia Nixon knocked everyone's socks off our National Candidate Training in DC. CNN reported: “Cynthia Nixon to progressive candidates: 'Time is up for corporate Democrats'”

Telling candidates she believes it is time for New York to legalize the recreational use of marijuana, Nixon explained: “This is first and foremost a matter of racial justice…We have to stop putting people of color in jail for something white people do with impunity.”

Can you chip in $4 to help Andrew Gillum, David Garcia, Stacey Abrams, and Cynthia Nixon build on the huge progressive momentum this year and put true progressives in the governors' mansions of Florida, Arizona, Georgia, and New York?

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
