What John McCain Just Admitted About Trump Will Shake The GOP To Its Core (DETAILS)

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) has just sent the Republican Party a damning message about the current state the party is in, and the GOP only has itself to thank for how the party has devolved under Donald Trump’s “leadership.”

To show just how bitter McCain is about the way Trump had behaved so far as POTUS, he recently said that American leadership was far better when Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, was in office – which is a major ‘F*ck you’ to Trump, considering that McCain criticized Obama for the entire eight years that he was in office.

According to

Senator John McCain, a prominent Republican voice on foreign policy, was visibly irked when asked by the Guardian what message Trump had sent to the United Kingdom, one of America’s most enduring allies.

“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said, while adding of the rest of the world: “They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”

Asked if America’s standing on the global stage was better under Barack Obama, McCain, a fervent critic of the previous administration’s foreign policy, responded: “As far as American leadership is concerned, yes.”

For a top Republican to say this means that Trump has disappointed the GOP far more than many conservative politicians are letting on. However, what McCain is saying isn’t rocket science. No one can ignore the fact that Trump has ruined America’s standing with the rest of the world, and has ensured that the country will no longer be a well-respected global leader. Trump has moved America away from the global community and has already weakened many of the country’s alliances in the few short months he’s been in the White House. These facts are becoming harder for Republicans to ignore, and they are finally being forced to admit it.

For McCain to begin praising a Democratic president that he once had nothing but criticism for is a major sign that the GOP is fed up with Trump, and would give anything to have Obama back.
