Donald Trump is definitely going to regret not opting out of his businesses after he finds out what’s actually been happening in the Trump Tower.

It turns out that a rather interesting discovery was recently made in the Trump Tower’s gift shop – on Monday, Ku Klux Klan hoods and urine-proof bed sheets were spotted on display in the gift shop, available for purchase.

The Gothamist reported that it was actually two pranksters who were behind the appearance of these items, and placed them amongst the merchandise so customers could be reminded just who they were supporting when they made a purchase.

The satirical merchandise would definitely strike a nerve with Trump, as the products targeted many of his PR nightmares and scandals. The KKK hoods stated that they were “for fine people” and the urine-proof rubber bed sheets, Russian “Trump” flags, and the postcard with Putin’s image as the 45th President of the United States all poked fun at Trump’s Russia scandal and support for white supremacy.

These items were on sale in the store for two full days, and it was only when the Gothamist tried to purchase the items that the gift shop’s employees realized the items were there (likely because they fit in so well). Upon this discovery, the Gothamist’s reporters were kicked out of the store so all items could be removed. But before the fun was ruined, photographs were taken of what was being sold:

The Gothamist was able to identify one of the pranksters, who said:

We thought the tourists coming in to buy some stuff, especially people from other countries, should get the whole story of who the president is, because the items in the Trump store don’t accurately reflect the person.

Honestly, these fake items aren’t that far off from the real merchandise being sold at the Trump Tower gift shop – which is probably why it took so long for the items to be noticed. The real items are just as bad – for example, a t-shirt that boasts the word jumble “Shut the fake up media.” Looks like Trump himself could have designed it.
