Trump Supporters Very Upset How Obama Handled Hurricane Katrina – In 2005

In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in one of the worst natural disasters in history which left nearly 2,000 people dead. That happened 3 years and six months before Barack Obama took office. The man leading the country at the time was President George W. Bush, and he was criticized for his response. In 2005, Obama was a senator of Illinois but he still went out to meet Katrina evacuees in Houston, Texas.

According to a , 29 percent of Lousiana Republican voters blamed Obama for a poor response to Hurricane Katrina, even though Bush was in office.

On Twitter, bots and users of the social site are wondering why Obama was playing golf in the wake of Katrina.

These things shouldn’t even have to be pointed out.

This tweet from February is coming back at her fast AF. “Three days after Hurricane Katrina: Where was Michelle Obama?” she asked and included an image of Condoleeza Rice, who is totally not Mrs. Obama.

She’s being thoroughly mocked.
