Trump Literally BEGGED Jerry Jones To Make The Dallas Cowboys Stand During The National Anthem

Apparently, Donald Trump was so desperate for an NFL team to support his stance that he begged like a dog to get what he wanted.

As we all know, Trump went off on a tirade against Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players who have been kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice and police brutality in this country.

He called them “sons of bitches” who should be fired by team owners and proceeded to continue whining about it on Twitter.

The following Sunday, NFL teams publicly rebuked Trump as players, coaches, and even some owners took a knee during the anthem in solidarity with the players Trump attacked.

However, the Dallas Cowboys tried to have it both ways by kneeling before the anthem and then standing during it.

The problem is, Trump specifically attacked players for kneeling during the anthem — he attacked them for exercising their constitutional rights. So by standing during the anthem instead of joining other teams in the protest, the Cowboys basically gave Trump a win to brag about and betrayed their fellow NFL players in the process.

And it’s all because Trump begged Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to make his team stand during the anthem.

NFL Network’s that Trump called Jones four times leading up to the Monday Night Football game on September 25th and “implored” Jones to get his team to stand.

The Cowboys stood, so Trump bragged on Twitter.

Trump would go on to praise Jones and brag about how the Cowboys won’t be kneeling during the national anthem.

The Cowboys did not kneel at all this past Sunday.

But again, Trump only got the Cowboys to stand because he pathetically begged Jones, who probably gave his players an ultimatum of some kind, to make them stand. By doing so, the Cowboys players stood with Trump against freedom of speech and basically gave their stamp of approval to racial injustice. They gave Trump something to brag about to aid him in his effort to force black players to do what he wants them to do. And that is unforgivable and should lead to a massive boycott of the Dallas Cowboys. By standing with Trump, they stood against the Constitution and America.
