Trump Finally Got On The Cover Of TIME Magazine; He’s Going To Hate This

Donald Trump has had an obsession with TIME magazine especially since he ‘won’ the election. In TIME’s person of the year award, Trump two percent of the magazine’s readers to receive the coveted award. Special counsel Robert Mueller received 5 percent, by the way. The former reality show star thrives on praise and acknowledgment even though he has accomplished very little during his first year. But, if rage-tweeting is an accomplishment then he’s done a great job. Trump once bragged to the that he’s been on so many magazine covers that he “can’t put them up.”

Trump is so obsessed with being on the cover of notable magazines that a fake copy of Time magazine was hung up in at least five of the former reality show star’s golf courses.

Well, here’s a real one for Donald Trump. The new TIME magazine cover, which was designed by artist Edel Rodriguez, depicts Trump screaming with his yellow hair on fire. The caption reads: “Year One.”

Rodriguez that the new cover is in reference to Michael Wolff’s new tell-all bestselling book ‘Fire and Fury’ and the anniversary of Trump’s inauguration.

“We used to live where the United States was a pretty steady country, and now you wake up every day and try to figure out where’s the next fire, where do we have to go, what do we have to try to contain,” Rodriguez said. “It’s sort of this President that you’re always trying to contain, like a wildfire that’s moving from one place to the other at all times.”

In 2016, Rodriguez showed then-candidate Donald Trump in “Meltdown” and “Total Meltdown” on the magazine’s covers.

Trump brought this upon himself. Last year, Trump made the bizarre claim that TIME said the publication called him to tell him he would “probably” be their “Person of the Year,” but the magazine countered his allegation by saying they do not typically comment on their selection until the publication is released.

Expect a Twitter meltdown in 3…2…
