Trump Attacks Republicans In Tweetstorm: ‘Repub Death Wish!’

Following reports of a deadly earthquake rattling Mexico, which is deemed the most powerful to hit the country in a century, leaving at least 16 dead, amateur president Donald Trump decided to tweet about Senate filibuster rule.

On Friday, Trump attacked his own party for failing to repeal Obamacare and called for ending the filibuster which requires 60 votes to close off a debate. Trump, the former reality show star who co-authored The Art Of The Deal, failed to get bipartisan support in order to find a viable replacement for the Affordable Care Act and instead, the GOP, with his support, offered the country a not so tasty sh*t sandwich.

“Republicans, sorry, but I’ve been hearing about Repeal & Replace for 7 years, didn’t happen! Even worse, the Senate Filibuster Rule will….” he tweeted early this morning.

“…never allow the Republicans to pass even great legislation,” he continued. “8 Dems control – will rarely get 60 (vs. 51) votes. It is a Repub Death Wish!”

“Republicans must start the Tax Reform/Tax Cut legislation ASAP,” Trump added. “Don’t wait until the end of September. Needed now more than ever. Hurry!”

Republicans control the House, Senate, and the White House but Trump is claiming that Democrats control the Senate. Maybe Trump should take advice from Trump and reach out to the other side of the aisle like he did on Thursday when he called House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer if he wants to accomplish any major legislation. That’s what President Obama did. Presidenting is hard.
