Sarah Huckabee Sanders Botches Press Briefing With Insane Statement About Muslims

With the incomprehensible amount of nonsense and scandals that have come out of the Trump administration, the focus has come off the fact that Trump has tried to make some of his extremely bigoted views a part of the actual law. However, thanks to Trump’s endorsement of pedophile Roy Moore, his anti-Muslims views are in the spotlight once again.

Earlier this week, Trump gave his official endorsement of Moore, and considering all of the things these two horrible men have in common, it’s no wonder. Not only are Moore and Trump able to bond over the fact that they both sexually assault women and teenagers, but they also hate Muslims! This came to light as  surfaced, in which Moore attacked Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim member of Congress. In the op-ed, Moore attacked Ellison for his faith and stated that Muslims should be banned from Congress. It’s absolutely disgraceful and no sitting president should stand behind it, but Trump’s team can’t defend the president here.

During a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders failed to defend her boss when she was grilled about whether or not Trump agreed with Moore over his claim that Muslims shouldn’t serve in Congress. It should have been a straightforward answer, but Huckabee Sanders couldn’t even give a clear response. She said:

I haven’t asked him about past statements from Roy Moore. I’m saying he supports the President’s agenda; the President doesn’t necessarily support everything of Moore’s agenda.”

Sanders is basically saying she has no idea — which speaks tons. Especially since just recently, Trump was tweeting fake anti-Muslim videos to support his ban on Muslims who want to enter the country. Sarah Huckabee Sanders knows exactly where Trump stands on this — as she does with everything she’s asked about. She’s just not allowed to say it.
