4/30/12 On the anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden, Mitt Romney insists that he would have made the same decision as President Obama did a year ago to order the killing of bin Laden. “Even Jimmy Carter would have made that call.” Romney scoffed. But when candidate Obama pledged in 2007 that he’d go after bin Laden in Pakistan, Romney attacked Obama’s statement as “ill-considered.” The President isn’t buying Romney’s latest flip-flop. “I said that we’d go after bin Laden if we had a clear shot at him and I did,” Obama said today. “If there are others who’ve said one thing and now suggest they’d do something else, then I’d go ahead and let them explain,” Let the explaining begin.
“We have got this tailspin of culture, in our inner cities in particular, of men not working and just generations of men not even thinking about working or learning the value and the culture of work, and so there is a real culture problem here that has to be dealt with,”
