Republican Actually Has A Conscience, Stuns GOP By Trashing Health Care Bill (VIDEO)

On Thursday, Senate Republicans finally decided to unveil their health care bill, which they had been working on behind closed doors and in absolute secrecy. Considering that Donald Trump and the GOP have repeatedly failed to get any sort of support for their disastrous attempts to replace and repeal Obamacare, it’s hilarious that they even keep trying. This, like many other failed attempts, was met with blistering criticism – and a good part of it is actually coming from the Republican Party.

Several GOP senators have openly slammed the health care bill. Already, five Senate Republicans have publicly said they would not support the bill – one of them being Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who gave an astounding appearance on MSNBC’s MTP Daily that has the GOP sweating bullets. In speaking with host Chuck Todd, Collins flat-out said what more Republicans should be saying – she could not possibly support a health care bill that would strip millions of Americans of life-saving health care. Blatantly pointing out major flaws in the health care bill, Collins said:

I can’t support a bill that will greatly increase premiums for our older Americans. I cannot support a bill that is going to result in tens of millions of people losing their health insurance.”

Collins also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the health care bill made cuts to Medicaid, and brought up the fact that funding to Planned Parenthood would also be affected.

While Collins said she would wait to see the Congressional Budget Office’s official score of the health care bill before making a final verdict, there’s no doubt about where she stands. Collins and Senate Republicans like her know that despite how much the GOP hates Obamacare, this plan is far worse.
