It will be worthless.
After all systematic torture was investigated, oh and we found out, that yes indeed, we tortured, but meh, "look forward" we were told.
The preemptive nature of our war with Iraq, but meh, who cared about the immediate carnage caused, let alone the chaos left behind.
“The bombs hit and then we heard the plane circle round,” said Heman Nagarathnam, MSF’s head of programmes in northern Afghanistan. “There was a pause, and then more bombs hit. This happened again and again. When I made it out from the office, the main hospital building was engulfed in flames.”
“Those people that could had moved quickly to the building’s two bunkers to seek safety. But patients who were unable to escape burned to death as they lay in their beds.”
Circling around and around, bombing each time, is not collateral damage, it is intentional.
Now we have
The US president, Barack Obama, has pledged a full investigation into an apparent US airstrike on an Afghan hospital that killed 19 people.
Who in the rest of the world gives a shit? Hell, this news didn't even make the Front Page of Kos.
The US will bluster that Russia will destabilize the region and kill the wrong people, what about us?
Who will give a shit even if the US finds it "did a bad".
You know why?
Because everyone on the planet knows
Nothing will be done about it, and nothing will change.
Hell, the US doesn't even have the bloody courage to be subject to the International Criminal Court, founded by Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court which the US originally signed but then ran away from even attempting to ratify.
Oh a report will be done, no doubt, then it will be kept secret, then a heavily redacted piece of worthless paper will be given for the world to wonder at.
Even if war crimes had been found to have occurred, what will be done?
That is why I don't give a shit what the US decides to do. We already know the result, a sergeant will be demoted somewhere in the Middle East.
The day the Bush Cabal is delivered for trial [to any court] then I might start to believe something will be done.
Oh and by the way
We are still at war, even more so.
Go on, I dare you, surprise me.
