New Study On Racial Divisions In America Will TERRIFY Conservatives

Death changes everything.

At this moment in time, we are witnessing the last gasps of a generation of conservatives who feel their skin color gives them the right to discriminate.

Ever since the election of President Obama, the Republican Party and right-wing media have played on the fears of older white Americans in order to gain power. And they have used that power under pressure from that base of voters to pass laws that suppress voting rights, limit civil rights, and make clear that we are living in two separate nations. One nation is trying to move forward together while embracing diversity and equality. The other nation is desperately trying to bring back segregation and pass hate and racism on to the next generation.

Racism and hate have surged in the last ten years. But while it may seem like the United States is doomed to tear itself apart, a suggests that the racial divide we are experiencing right now won’t be around much longer.

According to the study, minorities will become the majority of the under-18 population by 2020, while the population over 60 is dominated by white people.

In other words, the youth of our nation continues to get more and more diverse and as they grow up, they will end up taking over the country, including the positions of power that are occupied by racist conservatives.

Basically, as white Americans over 60 die off, the racial generation gap will close. Of course, this will be a slow process, but it will happen.

Take . Although we know the state to be a liberal stronghold with progressive attitudes on race in the present day, California’s own racial gap peaked during 1990s at a time when racist white lawmakers desperately clung to power by banning affirmative action, banning bilingual education, and attacking undocumented immigrants.

But changing demographics brought sweeping change to California as the more diverse younger generation took control and instituted a more fair system. Make no mistake: There are still racist conservatives in California. But they are now outnumbered by a diverse generation. The same thing will happen across the rest of the nation.

In the meantime, however, the older predominantly white generation may be for economic reasons. After all, younger generations are the ones who keep Social Security solvent for older Americans who have retired. Therefore, if the younger more diverse generations of Americans can’t get a proper education to help them get good-paying jobs because of unequal treatment, it’s going to be much more difficult to keep Social Security alive and well. If Americans over 60 expect to receive that Social Security check in the mail every month, it would be in their best interest to make sure younger generations can properly pay into the system.

Of course, that means racist white conservatives over 60 will have to voluntarily obliterate their own racist policies. And we all know that’s probably not going to happen. So we’ll just have to wait.

It will take time. But the old White Guard who make up the base of the Republican Party and the viewership of Fox News are dying off every day. Meanwhile, a more diverse generation is rising up to take their place. And they will tear down the racist policies passed by conservatives and drag them kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
