Montana GOP Candidate LITERALLY Just Body Slammed A Reporter, Lies About It In Statement (AUDIO)

Greg Gianforte, who is facing a tough election campaign for the U.S. House in Montana, actually body-slammed a reporter covering the election, breaking his glasses. Ben Jacobs, of The Guardian U.S. Edition, took to Twitter to briefly inform his audience of the incident, and says that a local television crew was there when Gianforte attacked him:

And this was a literal body slam, not just a shove or deliberate person-to-person collision. There was a commotion following Jacobs’ question about the CBO score on the GOP’s Obamacare repeal plan, and then Gianforte shouted:

I’m sick and tired of you guys! The last guy that came in here did the same thing! Get the hell out of here!”

Listen to the entire incident below:

Of course, Gianforte’s campaign has already released a statement that is a complete lie in light of the audio above:

Alexis Levinson, who is a reporter for Buzzfeed, says she was there and saw part of the incident through a half-closed door:

Another Buzzfeed reporter, Blake Montgomery, documented it too:

Democrat Bob Quist in a special election for the House seat vacated by Ryan Zinke, who Trump tapped for Secretary of the Interior. His campaign — like those of other Republicans running in special elections — has been looking at polls and other statistics and whispering in fear that their races are closer than they should be.

Montana’s special election for The Guardian, where he reported Gianforte’s lead has shrunk over the last several weeks despite his jumping on the Trump Wagon with the rest of Montana. Trump won Montana last November by well over 20 points. Gianforte must be taking notes from Trump on how to deal with the press.
