Lunatic Trump Tried To Make Comey Look Bad To The Russians; Made A Fool Of Himself Instead

By now, we are all aware of Donald Trump’s disgraceful Oval Office meeting with the Russian ambassador and the Russian foreign minister. As if the meeting itself weren’t bad enough, Trump also leaked highly classified information to these officials of a foreign adversary. Now, it comes out that for some bizarre reason, Trump discussed the firing of FBI Director James Comey with them as well.

During this meeting, Trump laughably told the Russians that Comey is, quote, “crazy.” Now, considering Trump’s own nutty behavior, this is quite the projection. He :

I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Trump said, according to The Times. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

“I’m not under investigation.”

So, here we are again, with Trump himself revealing that he is obstructing justice by trying to kill an investigation into him and his administration by getting rid of the guy who was leading it.

Of course, the White House is pushing back on all of this, saying of the leaks:

By grandstanding and politicizing the investigation into Russia’s actions, James Comey created unnecessary pressure on our ability to engage and negotiate with Russia.”

“The investigation would have always continued, and obviously, the termination of Comey would not have ended it.”

“Once again, the real story is that our national security has been undermined by the leaking of private and highly classified conversations.”

No, the real story is the alleged “president” leaking sensitive intelligence information to a foreign adversary from the well of the Oval Office. You’re all a bunch of treasonous rats, and you have no business being in the people’s house.

That’s okay, though. Keep leaking, patriots inside the White House. We’ll get rid of all of these people soon enough.
