CNN Reporter Just Dropped Everything To Save A Hurricane Victim’s Life (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, Trump lackey Kellyanne Conway attacked CNN for interviewing victims of Hurricane Harvey (while praising Fox News for doing the same thing) — but can you imagine Fox doing something like this?

Recently, a CNN crew helped rescue an elderly couple from their flooded home in Friendswood, Texas. This astonishing scene made its way around the internet, warming the hearts of all who saw it. On Wednesday, CNN once again stepped in to save someone from harm’s way.

CNN reporter Drew Griffin saw a man turn from a street into a flooded bayou. Instead of simply report what was happening, he became the story when he and his crew dropped everything to leap into action ad save Jerry Sumrall, who was floating away in his truck.

“You got a power cord? You got a rope?” Griffin asked his crew as he rushed to help the man.

“We just literally rescued this guy out,” said Griffin after it was all over.

“How you doin’? he asked the man,” adding that it’s “too much of a time” for an interview. He told Sumrall to get himself out of the rain. Though he intiially walked away, Sumrall came back briefly to thank Griffin and his crew.

“Just want to thank these guys for saving my life,” he said, looking Griffin in the eyes. “Thank you.”
