C-Span hires Keith Olbermann, already hates itself.

Keith Olbermann has signed a new two year deal with C-Span to host a new show tentatively titled, “Loud Talking with Olbermann.”

C-Span producer Martin Wiseman said about the deal, “Listen, we all know Keith's reputation. Which is why we think he would be a perfect fit for C-Span. He will be provided with a camera on a tripod and space in an empty office to record his program. And if he doesn't show up for work one day, we will simply press play and record the empty room. There will be no disruption to our regular programming.” Mr. Wiseman than excused himself to attend the “Olbermann Pre-Emptive Legal Defense Fund” bake sale in the C-Span commissary.

Olbermann is excited about the freedom he will have on the new show. “Now I can talk about the things that are really important to me and the American public,” he said. “There will be a recurring segment called 'The Worst Person in My Apartment Complex', and once a week I will have a review of the strengths and failures of my household staff and drivers. People appreciate the truth, and it is my responsibility to provide it.”

“Loud Talking with Keith Olbermann” is set to premiere next month.
