All Trump Can Do After Comey’s Damning Testimony Is Point His Finger At Hillary Clinton

FBI Director James Comey had some pretty explosive things to say during his testimony before Congress on Monday morning. Most damning was his revelation that the FBI is indeed investigating not just Russia’s interference in our presidential election, but also the possibility that Donald Trump colluded with the foreign power.

Naturally, Trump decided to stomp his feet and frantically point his tiny finger at Hillary Clinton. Rest assured that you are not alone if your first response to that sentence was, “wait, what?”

“What about all of the contact with the Clinton campaign and the Russians? Also, is it true that the DNC would not let the FBI in to look?” Trump tweeted early Monday morning before the hearing had even begun, already trying to draw attention from what he knew was coming.

Then, during Monday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer followed Trump’s lead. A reporter asked if Trump had anything to back up his latest Twitter accusation and Spicer doubled down. After accusing the Democratic National Committee of trying to hide something, he went after Hillary specifically.

There is a whole second set of concerns here in terms of what was Hillary Clinton’s role,” the press sec argued. “When you look at the Obama history — the Obama Administration and the Clinton — the Clinton’ involvement with Russia in terms of donations that the Clinton received from Russian entities, the idea that they sold off tremendous amount of the uranium to the Russian government — and yet where was the concern for that?”

Spicer then started ranting about a uranium deal with Russia that Clinton had signed off on when she was secretary of state. “What did they get?” he asked suspiciously. Because when all else fails, whine about Hillary. Makes perfect sense.
