AG Trump Fired For Knowing Too Much Will Testify On Russia, And He’s F*cked

On Friday morning, the House Intelligence Committee confirmed that several former members of President Obama’s administration will testify publicly in the investigation into Trump’s “alleged” collusion with Russia and subsequent interference with the 2016 election. While this is not unexpected, given that most of these senior staffers were still occupying the White House when Trump took over, Trump is sure to lose his mind over one of the names on the list — Former Attorney General Sally Yates, who, if you recall, he fired for refusing to back him on his unconstitutional Muslim ban and the Department of Justice.

AG Yates was very outspoken during Trump’s transition, and frequently voiced her concerns about Michael Flynn to Trump and his team before he was appointed National Security Adviser. Her concerns turned out to be warranted, as Flynn was forced to resign in shame after he lied about his contact with Russia during Trump’s presidential campaign.

The Yates hearing, which is scheduled for May 2, will also include testimony from former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. The hearing was originally supposed to take place back in March, but was canceled by then committee chairman, Devin Nunes, who was terrified that she might have information that would likely not bode well for Trump or his administration. Nunes was so terrified that he himself is under investigation by the House Ethics Committee for turning over classified information to Trump and is no longer part of the investigation into Russia.

The Washington Post reported at the time that the White House sought to block her from testifying, a charge that White House press secretary Sean Spicer has denied.

Nunes said that the hearing had been nixed to make room for a closed-door briefing with Comey and Rogers — but Democrats argued that Nunes was attempting to prevent Yates from giving testimony that was expected to damage the president.

While it’s unclear exactly what Yates and her colleagues will have to say during this public hearing, you can bet the world will be watching. Let’s hope this will FINALLY be the end of our traitor-in-chief.
